This is interim, non-lawyer-drafted text so the product can collect versioned consent during development. Replace it with counsel-reviewed copy before launch (see HANDOFF.md). The version below identifies exactly which text users agreed to.

This Privacy Policy describes what Commish collects, why, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

Account: email address and, if you use a password, a hashed password. Apple/Google sign-in shares your name and email (or Apple's private relay address).
Profile: display name, phone number, and optional photo, city, bio, and fun profile answers you choose to add.
League data: memberships, roles, scores, posts, and per-league profile answers (e.g. golf handicap) inside the leagues you join.
Consent records: which terms/privacy versions you accepted and when.

2. How we use it

To run your leagues: standings, schedules, invites, chat.
To send account and league texts you've consented to (reply STOP to opt out) and optional marketing email you've opted into.
To keep the Service safe (abuse prevention, security).

3. What we share

Your display name, photo, and per-league profile are visible to members of the leagues you belong to. Your phone number and email are not shown to other members.
Service providers that host our infrastructure (e.g. database, storage, email/SMS delivery) process data on our behalf.
We don't sell your personal information.

4. Your choices

Edit your profile any time from the profile screen.
Opt out of texts (reply STOP) or marketing email (unsubscribe).
Delete your account from the profile screen; this removes your profile and memberships.

5. Children

Commish is not for children under 13. We require an age attestation at sign-up and delete accounts we learn belong to children under 13.
